today i sat and watched a squirrel for literally 20 minutes.
it was jumping from branch to branch,
from little tree to little tree in pursuit of the biiiiig oak at the
end.
if was pretty sweet if you ask me, how it lept at such heights
as if it were a flying squirrel, and not some ordinary run of the mil squirrel.
it didn't give up, and eventually it made it to the big tree,
and to the top.
i am that squirrel, ladies and gentlemen.

so i just finished my application for CUNY Brooklyn.
all i need is to 70bucks.
i feel so relieved and happy and idealistic
i want to get into nyu or banard but i think this would

i need to post more, straight up.
life has been good to me, and i've been pretty good to life, too.
we got a little thing going, i guess you could say.
school is well and after being screwed out of my straight ass a's the past
two semesters im not letting it happen this time.
the middle eastern film festival started tonight and i saw "hats of jeusalem"- which was amazing. i highly recommend you check it out.
speaking of something you need to watch if you haven't seen it yet:
i met a big fat awesome jewish guy the other night who said he'd go with me to the kid who ripped me off. cause seriously, heads will roll.

easter weekend was one resurrection short of insanity. to make a long story short, i dont have a car for the rest of the semester :(
Good news though! we're pretty much set in a place to live for next year, this cute little apartment in greenbriar. its really nice, lots of windows, spacious kitchen, hardwood floors, big closets etc etc.
what im really excited about, though, is decorating! ive been getting some ideas, were definitely getting some sweet drapes for the windows, including the front door which is a french door.
and i really want this:

you can't paint so im thinking of all kinds of things i can do to the walls.
domestic.fr is enticing.
oh theres so many ways to decorate, im 'escited :)

too bad my moods been a little more conor oberest and a little less kevin barnes
as of recent. this semester needs to END, kellum hall needs to BURN, and
i need to get out of tallahassee ASAP.
i have no idea what im going to do next year- stay here or go somewhere else.
a part of me is saying i just need to stay and live somewhere else, but
another part says that i hate rednecks and go to school with a bunch
of idiots (which i do). oh well, we will see.

spring break was freakin' sweet, i love my friends as well as never ending sunshine and wine-o beach days. and going out with steven is so nice i wish i could do it more often :(
im very content right now, im looking foward to getting on with
the semester and enjoying summer fully.
i read the hours today, i really enjoyed it. and now im a week
ahead with reading in lit!
ive been waking up at 8:30 for school lately, which is very early
and im beginning to like it. can i turn myself into a morning person,
is that possible? blehhh im in a weird mood.
my back hurts badly and im longing for some cuddling, its
been way too long.

this weekend i drank way too much beer. like, way too much.
nicewonger and some of his army friends rented a car and came down.
thinking that im still some little alcoholic,
he expected me to show them all how to party in tallynasty.
anyway to make a long story short (as aunt shirley would say)
lots and lots of pitchers of beer were drank,
shots: "wow these are strong".."i know, i just took 4!" were had
and the fun began.
walking back from the pub i was talking to his kid and
i told him i could tell he was a frat boy from his "aura" AKA hair gel.
then, when we were almost back to queeron and gundys, i saw this guy
fall out of a car and get run over! i was concerned and asked if he was ok..
turned out it was big chris hahaha
he was happy that it was me and not a stranger who watched him get run over,
which i dont understand but whatever. drunk kids trying to ghost ride.
later, katie reich showed up and we continued the crunkness and laugher,
i was in disbelief that we never hang out and yet have so much in common.
that night laughter was proven to be infectious...christina and i just
kept laughing from opposite sides of the room whenever we looked at each
other. everything was funny.. especially the way i was heckling the shit
out of ciaran haha (you gonna eat that, fatty)
the chris's and others, possibly, ended up breaking the bathroom door when
nicwongers friend was in it because i had to pee. it was hilarious
but got a little out of hand. needless to say the next day
i felt as though i was dying a very slow, beer-induced death.
it was worth it
i cant remember much else, but that was this weekend in a nutshell.

i feel like this weekend just flashed before my eyes.
maybe, its because more than half of a day was spent in a car.
buuuut to see the people you love, driving down (or accross) the state of florida is no biggie.
my beloved aunt shirley had to go into the hospital last week, and was transfered to rehab this past week. from past experiences i just know that usually when people go to those places...its the beginning of the end. so i wanted to see her, brighten her spirits and encourage her to get out. finally, though, my mom has concluded that she cant live on her own, and i really hope she can get into assited living...
on a lighter note: school is boring and i am tired.
i got back at 2 last night, after staying in g-ville for a few hours to write an incredibly shitty essay. but my brohan is actually hitting me back for all the pounds of weed ive smoked him out with.
tomorrow i have no school, but still a ton of shit to do
-flyering pensacola & monroe, because im Union productions PR slave-bitch
-reading that goddamn play so i can actually participate in class
OH! and i got my first parking ticket today. talk about a hole in one.

i have a few things to say
1. fresh food's vegan wraps own suwanee room's vegan wraps,
i mean, couscous, sweeeeet!
2. dropping cultural imperialism was a very smart decision, now
i have tues & thurs off and im excited.
3. the bad thing about fresh foods though, is that youre always
eating random shit. for example, im eating this super good
cheese rice pilaf thing. and theres just random shit- pepper balls/anthrax/whoknows
i feel like its the weekend even though its not, theres just something
special in the air today.
and im not smoking weed til saturday.oh oh ohhhh
